Film or Book Title

A film or book title clearly represented as the subject of the image is the set subject for this month. This is definitely a call for creativity and a challenge that I enjoyed stepping up to. While I have a number of favourite books and movies, they weren’t easy to convert into a meaningful image. So I scanned the best seller lists for both movies and books looking for titles that could inspire an image.

After shortlisting a few titles, I then went to work to capture appropriate images to reflect these titles. I ultimately submitted 2 images based on movies titles and 2 based on book titles.

This month ended up as being my most successful month to date. I was awarded an honour for one image and merits for 2 other images. Only 1 image missed out. Woo Hoo!! The ironic thing was the image with most time and money invested in it did not get an award!
