Fresh Out of Ideas This Month

This month’s set subject is a fresh look at iconic images. The images should be a reproduction of a well-known image or object done in a new and interesting way. This topic really tested me and I struggled to come up with images. I submitted an image that was in my opinion a fresh look at the ANZAC tribute. The judge saw my image as a travel happy snap so my message did not convey as planned.

My one of my three entries in the Open section won a merit award while the others were only acceptances. I was really happy with my work on the one that was awarded a merit. It would be one of my best shots so far.
