No Cigars For Me This Month

The reality of competitions sunk in for me this month. No merits and no honours but all part of the learning experience. Marie received a merit for one of her images which was great.

Rural life was the set subject this month. The images needed to be of, relating to, or characteristic of the country, country life, or country people, or rustic in nature. I enjoyed capturing the images for this competition. I had a week of annual leave from work and Marie and I holidayed in Caloundra.

For the first time we did a number of drives from Caloundra looking specifically for rural images and photo opportunities. We discovered a number of locations we weren’t previously aware of. Not all the images I submitted came from around this area. Some came from our Tasmanian holiday back in December, 2014.
